CoffeeSock April 07 2016

The inspiration for a reusable, cloth coffee filter was born when the couple behind CoffeeSock ran out of paper filters for their Chemex and remembered a cloth filter they picked up during a trip to Costa Rica. After much testing and experimenting, they developed a version that fit their Chemex and most other major home-brewing systems, while simultaneously improving the taste of the brew. They’ve kept their operation purposely small, so the organic-cotton filters can continue being sewn by hand in Austin, Texas.
