Details

The best alternative to paper towels (not great for the environment) and sponges (can feel icky after just a few uses), these cleaning cloths are reusable, washable, super absorbent, and 100% biodegradable. It’s been estimated that a single cloth can do the work of 17 rolls of paper towels, and live through 200 cycles in the washing machine or dishwasher. And of course, the whimsical Scandinavian prints are pretty cute, too.

  • Set of three: one of each color
  • FSC certified cellulose & cotton. 100% biodegradable
  • Place in the washing machine or top rack of your dishwasher, boil, or microwave damp. Cloths should not be tumble dried. Use bleach for brightening. Your cloth can be washed over 200 times.
  • 6 3/4 x 8 inches
  • Material from Germany, Designed and Printed in the USA

About the brand

Family-owned and operated, Three Blue Birds was launched in 2013 by husband and wife team, Lasse and Lynda Baldauf, in Old Greenwich, Connecticut. Lasse, who grew up in Finland, wanted to bring the idea of the eco-friendly, reusable Swedish dishcloth to the States, where paper towels and sponges dominate the kitchen and laundry room. The Baldaufs design and print their dishcloths in Connecticut—Lasse, a lifelong doodler, is responsible for the hand-drawn, whimsical patterns—using material (cellulose and cotton) from Germany.
