Sophisticated fragrance combinations are harder to create when working solely with essential oils, but this super-luxe bath and body oil is absolutely stunning. A German winemaker, Franz Otto Klein created it in 1931 after becoming obsessed with an oil he’d smelled at the famous spas in Baden Baden. A complex infusion of Siberian fir needle, verbena, lemon, lime, geranium, lavender, eucalyptus, and rosemary, the oil is fantastically tension-melting in a hot bath but also doubles as a crisp, ever-unfolding fragrance.
