But the busy British-born, New York-based designer wasn’t always the queen of flats. No, no. She dabbled in modeling. She rose through the ranks as a stylist. She works as a contributing editor at Vogue. And in 2009, she found her true calling: designing. And it’s her impeccable craftsmanship and couture-like detailing (intricate embroidery, fanciful embellishments) that ultimately landed her eponymous line on the feet of the fashion set everywhere.
