Coltellerie Berti for MATCH

Black Insieme Set of 3 Kitchen Knives With Wood Blocks

US $1,100.00

Each one of these knives is handmade from start to finish by a single craftsman in the Tuscan countryside about 25 miles north of Florence, Italy; the initials of the maker are subtly marked on each knife, a tradition hailing back as far as 1895. The handle is made of hand-polished black lucite, with a carbon and stainless-steel blade. This set includes a 9” chef’s knife, utility knife, and straight paring knife. Plus, it comes with a three-piece storage block: each knife has its own individual wood block, magnetized so they can go together as a set; as an added bonus, each one is beautifully labeled with the Italian name for that knife. The food editors at goop use theirs daily.

About the Brand

Since its founding by David Berti in 1895, Coltellerie has not changed the design of its now famous knives. Run by the same family for over a century, the knives are artisan made in the Tuscan countryside—each with the artisan’s initials engraved on the blade.
