Maple Wood Serving Spatula

$110.00

Joshua Vogel's kitchen utensils are all made from sustainably harvested domestic white oak, which is a gorgeous match for the natural tannic acid dyes he uses—the result is a deep black color that's rich, yet food-safe. This solid-feeling spatula is carved out of a single piece of wood, which reduces the likelihood of splitting and cracking over the lifetime of the object.

  • Sold individually
  • 11" long

About the Brand

After years spent designing furniture in New York City, Josh Vogel founded his woodworking studio, Black Creek Mercantile & Trading Co., in Kingston, New York, which is an achingly sweet village that sits along the Hudson River. BCM&T Co. makes beautiful, lovingly crafted wooden products of all kinds, from cutting boards to bowls to furniture, but Vogel’s real specialty is wooden spoons (he’s even written a book about them).
