Palo Santo Essential Oil

$26.00

Long used in indigenous shamanic ceremonies, palo santo, a sacred wood that grows on the coast of South America (in Spanish, it literally translates to “holy stick”) is energy-clearing, healing, and uplifting, with notes of pine and lemon. This essential oil is ethically wildcrafted from dead wood gathered from the tropical dry forest on Ecuador’s Pacific Coast, and distilled in sustainable, small batches. Floracopeia works with a dedicated small community to promote reforestation of the sacred tree.

How to Use

Perhaps the easiest way to use palo santo oil is through a simple direct palm inhalation. Place a drop of this uplifting and clarifying oil in the palm of your hand, gently rub the palms together, bring them towards your face and inhale it deeply. It’s perfect for the diffuser, particularly blended with frankincense (its botanical cousin), and is believed to help protect, purify, and promote wellbeing in the home. To soothe and relax any specific area of the body, add several drops and apply as a cold compress, or blend it with massage oil to relax tense, strained muscles.
